You MUST select one of each of the additional options below. (or you will be ordering the default selections)



Select the Product Line

Select "Demi" for back of hand and thumb root protection only. 

    (For safe use these should be worn with additional protection (i.e. basket kilt, or buckler))

Select "FULL" for back of hand, thumb root, as well as finger and thumb protection.

    (Finger gauntlets conform to SCA Heavy Standards)



Model Options

Select "Simplified" for one piece back of hand and one piece thumb root construction.

    (Finger construction if selected, is always traditional steel, even on simplified pattern gauntlets)

Select "Traditional" for multi part back of hand and thumb root construction.

    (back of hand and thumb root main plates are above leather, the remainder are below)



Material Options

Select "Leather" for wax hardened back of hand and thumb root construction.

    (Finger construction if selected, is always traditional steel, even on leather gauntlets)

Select "Steel" for 1018 steel for back of hand and thumb root construction.

    (1018 Steel is the most commonly available steel for armor)

Select "1050 Steel" for Hardened "Tool" Steel back of hand and thumb root construction.

    (Finger construction if selected, is 1050 as well)

Select "Ballistic" for Titanium back of hand and thumb root construction.

    (Finger construction if selected, is Titanium as well.  Glove and mounting fabric is Kevlar blend in place of leather)



Cuff Options

Select "Cuff" for protection which extends to cover the wrist.. 

    (Note: The cuff is not padded but is armored)

Select "No Cuff" for "Driving Glove" look.

    (These join with a buckle at the wrist like the Originals)



Glove Options

Select "Standard Glove" for modern cowhide gloves modified for better fit. 

    (Note: Modifications include darting at the finger base and mounting seams)

Select "CFA Glove" for gloves handmade with our own darted pattern.

    (These are superior designs composed of period elements but not correct for 1361)

Select "Period Glove" for as authentic as we can get.

    (These gloves are handmade and based on the St Hadelin gloves dated prior to 1361.)

 



Padding Options

Select "Wool Padding " for our standard period style padding. 

    (This includes 5/16" of felted wool in a linen or canvas shell for shock absorption) (SCA-Heavy legal)

Select "Sorbothane®" for gloves padded with a modern super material.

    (This amazing material is 7.5 times as effective as closed cell foam for protection)



Required Measurements:



1. - Measure with a flexible (fabric) measuring tape. (DO NOT attempt to use a metal measuring tape...)

If you do not have a flexible measuring tape please use the following instructions.

     1. - Cut 15 strips of paper 1/2" wide by 6" long. (You can substitute string as long as it is not "stretchy")

     2. - Cut 2 strips of paper 1/2" wide by 11' long for wrist and palm/trank measurements.

     3. - Wrap around location as shown, draw a line across both at the place where they cross.

     4. - Unwrap, lay flat, and measure the distance between the lines. 

2. - NOTE: Finger length is from center of knuckle (X) to end of finger.

3. - Select the measurement in appropriate box.

4. - Do the same for all of the measurements below.
